Kidepo Valley National Park

Kidepo Valley national park is located near Karenga in kaabongo district in the northern corner of Uganda covering the total area of 1442 square kilometres. Kidepo Valley National Park it is rugged savanna it was gazetted in 1958 as a game reserve and later in 1962 it was made a national park. By Road

It is from Kampala, through Karuma, Gulu, Kitgum and then to the park headquarters and it is 10to 12-hour drive

By Air

It can also be accessed by air transport means where you will book aero link Uganda from Kajjansi airfield to Apoka airstrip and then connect to the park headquarters by road.
