Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, Tanzania Cultural Experience
Upon your arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you shall be picked up by our guide who shall welcome you for the safari, brief you as you transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your time of arrival, you shall enjoy a cultural tour to see and learn about the different tribes and cultures of Tanzania. Get to visit craft shops and get to buy yourselves some souvenirs as you support the local women. You shall return to the hotel for dinner an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park Game Drive
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or airport and your guide will welcome you for the safari. Thereafter you shall start your journey to Tarangire National Park, the third largest national park in Tanzania with huge herds of elephants and baobab trees. You will engage in a game drive around the national park as you look out for various wildlife species such as elephants, zebras, cheetahs, lions, buffalos, leopards, cheetahs among others. You will have your lunch ahead of your drive to Karatu where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive and walking safari
After a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, you shall proceed for a transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. The park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located African wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park is known for its biodiversity consisting of several wildlife species including one of Africa’s densely populated African elephants herds, the rare tree-climbing lions and extensively large flocks of flamingo attracted by the algae in Lake Manyara. You shall have a morning walking safari experience, after which you shall have lunch in the bush over a picnic. After lunch, enjoy a game drive in the park to see a variety of animals including the tree climbing lions among others. You will return to the lodge thereafter for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive to Serengeti national park
After breakfast at the lodge, you shall transfer to Serengeti National Park for a wildebeest migration experience. You will engage in a game drive around the national park and look out for wildlife species such as wildebeests, lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos among others. Your dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.

Day 5: Full Day Serengeti
After breakfast at your lodge, you will head out with your packed lunch for a full day Serengeti National Park safari experience. Engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti national park and look out for the wildebeest herds in the savannah plains as well as other wildlife species. You will have lunch ahead of another wildlife experience in the national park.
Chance seeing the wildebeests as they cross the Grumeti River or Mara River and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Drive to Arusha, Fly to Zanzibar

Day 7: Day at leisure
Wake up at leisure, and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at leisure at the hotel, take a swim, tour the hotel or simply read a book whilst enjoying amazing views of the Indian Ocean. Reminisce of your just concluded safari experience in mainland Tanzania.

Day 8: Visit Jozani Forest
After your breakfast at the hotel, you shall proceed to visit Jozani Forest, the only park and forest in Zanzibar from where you shall get to see a number of primates and birds. Enjoy a guided nature walk. Thereafter, you shall return to the hotel for lunch. Spend the rest of the day at leisure

Day 9: Stone Town, Prison Island and Spice Tour
You will also take a private boat from Stone town to Changuu Island or Prison Island where you will enjoy seeing the Giant tortoises and during your tour of the island you will also enjoy snorkeling. You will take a boat back from Changuu Island back to Stone town. On this day you will also engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of the spices like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 10: Zanzibar Beach Experience
You will have a day to relax at the white sand beaches of Zanzibar Island and enjoy views of the Indian Ocean.

You will enjoy the best boat tour on the island is which is a truly amazing experience sailing in the beautiful traditional Dhows. After the experience, you will be driven back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
