Itikoni camp

Itikoni camp is a 3 star mid- range accommodation found in the lush forest of  Arusha national park beneath the crater of Mount Meru Tanzania region. The camp is situated 12 km from the park Gate on 5 acres of Green lush landscape overlooking the beautiful views of Mt. Meru , Mt. Kilimanjaro and wilderness. The camp is in the perfect base for Mount Climbing and Hiking who want to explore and discover the surrounding areas.  It takes approximately an hour and half drive from Kilimanjaro international airport. The LODGE is in perfect base out of the city noise to travellers, tourists and holiday makers for relaxing and safari adventures overlooking the stunning views of Mt Meru and surrounding areas.

Itikoni camp consist of 12 spacious and comfortable deluxe tents overlooking the beautiful views of MT .Meru and the green trees built mostly in the traditional building style with natural materials with high level of comfort.  Tents are well elevated, decorated  and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, bathroom with  hot and cold showers, beds wrapped with mosquito nets, hand wash basins, extinguishers,  white duvets,  white beddings , chairs and tables , free toiletries, complementary bottled water and many more. Tents have large sitting areas overlooking the spectacular view of the lush green trees, Mount Meru, Kilimanjaro and surrounding wilderness.  Tents are well equipped with comfortable and spacious beds with queen sized bed with ceiling fans.  Tents vary in different size with single beds for individuals, double/twin bed for sharing and family and triple rooming options.  The cost of the rooms ranges from 150$ per night and above and in High season the rate is slightly high than in Low season.

Itikoni camp offers more services and facilities which include;

A restaurant in the main building that serves different meal types both international and local meals that meet guest’s choice. Meals include; Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can have meals in place of your choice either in the dining area overlooking distant mountains and surrounding areas. Meals are served by well trained, friendly and organized staff.

 A well-stocked bar with  variety of drinks , local beers , wines etc , you can have any drink of you choice  while overlooking  the spectacular view of the beautiful  African nature , Mount Views  and surrounding area ,
