DAY 02: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

On the 2nd day of your Explore Tanzania In 9 Days, One of the smallest but most beautiful national parks you visit is the Lake Manyara National Park. Elephants, large groups of baboons, and, if you’re lucky, tree-climbing lions can all be found in the jungle. The vast soda lake is surrounded by a variety of species, including flamingos, buffalo, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras. In addition to having a breathtaking perspective of the Rift Valley Escarpment, the small Hippo Pool provides exceptional prospects for hippo sightings. A cultural tour, a mountain bike tour, or a canopy walk are just a few of the enjoyable activities that may be combined with game drives at Lake Manyara National Park.

DAY 03–05 SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Your safari in the Serengeti National Park continues today. The most outstanding nature films feature its gorgeous landscape. Unmatched in terms of wildlife abundance and boundless grasslands. The Serengeti’s most notable event is undoubtedly the yearly Great wildebeest migration, which includes over a million animals. Millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles thunder across the unending Serengeti plains, creating a truly amazing spectacle. You will be searching the plains for the herds with your personal guide. You will also witness many other creatures, like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many others, in addition to the migratory ones. The natural splendor of Africa’s most well-known park is sure to impress.

We advise going on a balloon safari if you enjoy viewing nature from a different angle. Drifting silently above the wildlife-filled plains is an incredible experience.

DAY 06: NGORONGORO NATIONAL PARK

On day 6 out of your 9-days Tanzania safari tour, wake up early in the morning, have breakfast at your lodge, and get ready to check out so you can drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area for a game drive. After arriving in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will have a game drive within the crater and expect to see some the big five animals such as lions, buffaloes and elephants.

The Ngorongoro caldera is the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. At approximately 20 kilometers across and 600 meters deep, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breath-taking natural wonder. Ngorongoro Crater is unique in that almost all the wildlife lives within the crater walls; hence, you have the opportunity to find the game easily. After your game drive you will be driven outside of the park to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 07: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

On the 7th day of your Explore Tanzania In 9 Days, You leave this morning for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Given its lesser popularity, this park in Tanzania nonetheless exudes a true safari vibe. Beautiful baobab trees stand out against the steep landscape’s clear blue sky. See the biggest concentration of elephants in the world. Around the Tarangire River, herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen consuming water or taking mud baths. Tarangire is a haven for bird lovers in addition to being home to elephants. Additionally, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even snakes that can scale trees can be seen in the vicinity of these marshes.

DAY 08: LAKE EYASI AND DRIVE BACK TO ARUSHA

We will begin our journey to Lake Eyasi this morning in order to see the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes and take part in their daily routines.

Hadzabe Tribe

The Hadzabe tribe of Tanzania is the last remaining real nomadic people in Africa. They are thought to have been among the first people to live in the Ngorongoro area around 10,000 years ago, and they currently reside close to Lake Eyasi. They speak the Click language and are not warrior tribes. You can either accompany the males as they engage in traditional bow-and-arrow hunting for their daily sustenance or you can accompany the women as they go fruit and berry picking. This is not a performance or a “tourist show.” The authentic African cultural experience is this.

DAY 09: KIKULETWA HOT SPRINGS

On the 9th day of your Explore Tanzania In 9 Days, After picking you up from your hotel in Arusha, we’ll drive you 1.5 hours on the Moshi-Arusha highway before turning off to drive through a small town called Boma Ng’ombe. We’ll take a dust road and drive through the local villages for another 30 to 45 minutes. Along the way, you’ll pass various green vegetation supported by irrigation from various streams, and the village is decorated with numerous lovely baobab trees with distinctive features. As soon as you get to Rundugai village, you sign the guest book and receive a community orientation. Your local guide will explain in detail about Maasai culture at this point, and you will have the opportunity to dance with them, visit their homes, and take pictures with them. After you meet your local guide, he or she will drive you to a Maasai village for a tour. As soon as you arrive at the Maasai village, you will be greeted by wonderful songs from Maasai women.

After the fun and excitement is over, you will return to your car, and we will travel to other nearby locations in the village where you can have a traditional African lunch. After lunch, we will take you to a hot spring for some rest and relaxation. Here, you will spend the majority of your time swimming, relaxing on a mattress, and taking naps.
