Arusha national park fees for Tanzanians : Arusha national park is a safari destination which is located in the northern part of Tanzania and park entrance fee is among the costs incurred during a safari to the national park.
The park entrance fee which is charged for Tanzanians visiting Arusha national park is as follows excluding 18% tax;
Tanzanians who are above the age of 16 years are considered adults and during tours to Arusha national park, they are charged park entrance fee of 10,000 Tanzania shillings in the low season and in the high season.
Children who are Tanzanians aged between 5 and 15 years visiting Arusha national park for safari are charged park entrance fee of 2,000 Tanzania shillings. Children below the age of 5 years visiting the national park are not charged park entrance fee.
Tanzanians are charged the same entrance fee as nationals of the different East African countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan.
When staying in park accommodation facilities around Arusha national park like huts, hostels, rest houses or bandas, Tanzanians above the age of 16 years are charged a fee of 5,000 Tanzania shillings per person while children aged between 5 and 15 years are charged a fee of 2,000 Tanzania shillings.
